Visita a Guadalupe

Recientemente regresó de Guadalupe el DrC Rinaldo Villaescusa Blanco, Jefe del Dpto. de Inmunoquímica de neustro instituto, después de haber realizado una visita de intercambio de 3 semanas en el INSERM de Pointe a Pitre, donde radica el Centro de Drepanocitosis “Guy Merault”.

El Dr. Villaescusa realizó variasactividaes en el laboratorio del Centro, y con las Dras. Marie Dominique Harde-Dessources y Marie-Laure Lalanne-Mistrih, analizaron aspectos de interés común con vistas a la realización de investigaciones conjuntas de utilidad para ambos países y por ende, para los pacientes con drepanocitosis.

Además, fue invitado a paraticipar en un Tribunal de Doctorado en la Universidad de Pointe a Pitre, conjuntamente con personalidades científicas centros de Paris, y ofreció una conferencia relacionada con el tema “Papel de los anticuerpos naturales anti banda 3 en los fenómenos vasooclusivos en la drepanocitosis”, que expone los resultados de la investigación realizada por nuestro experto.

En esta actividad estuvo también presente elDr Jacques Elion director general de la unidad, que radica en Paris y participó en el tribunal de doctorado y en el análisis de aspectos de interés mutuo para el establecimiento de investigaciones conjuntas.

Fue una visita muy interesante y que seguramente redundará en la ampliación de la colaboración científica entre nuestros países en la rama de la Hematología y particularmente en las Drepanocitosis.
