1-s20-s0305417912x00032-cov150h1Secondary abdominal compartment syndrome (sACS) in adults with severe burns is commonly unsuspected, can be rapidly fatal and seriously compromises the reliability of urine output as an indicator of perfusion and resuscitation status. Current literature lacks an exhaustive, evidence-based review critically appraising all retrieved literature on which clinical decisions may be based.

prsReduction mammaplasty is commonly described with regard to its qualitative benefits. The authors sought to perform a systematic review of the literature focusing on functional outcomes after reduction mammaplasty with regard to physical and psychological symptom improvement, including weight-related effects, exercise, and eating behaviors, in addition to aesthetic outcomes.
